The scrapbook, that is. I was able to get a couple of pages done for the Pahiyas 2011 album — 3 months after the event. Pfft. Since I moved to the new apartment, I haven’t unpacked my scrapbook supplies so it was a little difficult for me to dig around in boxes for the stuff I need. I was pretty much in a crafting rut for the past few months, but that Amami Yuki card jumpstarted things for me, so now I am back to creating!
For this project, I am using an 8×8 album by All about Scrapbooking.
This is the cover page of our Pahiyas album — it was really simple and I love how the colours turned out.
I was happy to have dug up this bamboo cardstock from Die Cuts with a View (DCWV). It gave my page a very native “pista sa nayon” feel. The skeleton leaves mimic the kiping decorations that the Pahiyas is known for. I uploaded this to Flickr and put notes on the different brands I used to create this page. http://www.flickr.com/photos/catchan/6044392977/in/photostream
