Losing steam

Only 5 days to go until the dreaded JLPT. Am I ready? ABSOLUTELY NOT. 😛

OK, I will admit it: I lost interest in it. About a month ago, I stopped studying seriously. I was going through my notes without committing them to memory. I was doing my homework hours before class. Not very ideal.

I used to be really passionate about this. Studying for at least 2 hours everyday – an hour at home, and another hour at the office. Taking advantage of lull moments at work to peek at my notes. Using all resources available to me to move fast forward, at least on the vocabs part.

Maybe I got really burned out. Suddenly, it didn’t interest me anymore. It wasn’t exciting anymore.

Also, I think it’s got something to do with a revamp of my priorities. After the ‘dark ages’, I realized I should be aligning my priorities with Schatz’s. I realized that we should start thinking of joint priorities, rather than individual, and the passing the JLPT has very little to do with ‘joint’.

I’d still do my best on these remaining 5 days and on Sunday. Do your best and God will do the rest. It has worked for me many times in the past; maybe I could still pull another miracle 😉
