Dec 8 – Feast of the Immaculate Conception

Posted on December 7, 2010

An adulterous woman was brought before Jesus and He addressed the crowd that gathered “Whoever is without sin, let him cast the first stone at her”.

A woman in the crowd picked up a stone…Suddenly, Jesus shouted “Ma, hindi ka kasama dito!” ***

Before you throw stones at me, that joke isn’t mine originally. I only heard that from Bro. Eric Baroquillo at the Kerygma Conference 😉

Tomorrow is December 8th, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. we Catholics believe that Mama Mary was free from any sin from the moment she was conceived in St Anne’s womb. December 8th is a holy day of obligation, so I hope you will find time to visit the Church and attend Mass in honour of Mama Mary.

I realized that some of my readers had to use Google Translate for the sentence in Filipino. I apologize for this. I would translate it as “Mom, stay out of this!” 😀

Thanks for reading, and for the effort to translate the above. 🙂
